The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for the 2024-2025 Academic Year to study in Romania. Interested citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis are invited to complete the application online via https://scholarships.studyinromania.gov.ro. Please note that scholarships are not offered in the fields of Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy. Each candidate is expected to undergo one year of language training. More information pertaining to the scholarship may be accessed via http://www.mae.ro/en/node/10251 A deadline of 16 March, 2024 has been set for the submission of all applications.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 19, 2024 (SKNIS): Stiffer penalties are being recommended for the offence of Causing Death by Careless Driving, which currently carries a maximum three-year sentence. The Accountant General Department, Ministry of Finance is currently conducting a comprehensive review of unclaimed payments made by various Ministries and Departments across the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis. Subsequent to the conclusion of the first phase of the review, the Department hereby publishes the following list of names of individuals with uncollected cheques at the Treasury. Individuals are urged to visit the Treasury for the collection of cheques on or before 31st March 2024. See List Attached Below

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 18, 2024 (SKNIS): The 26 men and women of Police Recruit Training Course #46 completed their final exam on Thursday, (December 18, 2024), after six months of gruelling training. The final test was the Drill Exam, which saw individuals divided into four squads, executing commands belted out by Drill Instructor Sergeant Antonio Browne. It was the third and final Drill Exam taken by the group over the training period.
