The Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run incident in the area of New River, Nevis. On July 15th, 2023, around 7AM, an elderly woman, Florence Ella Merchant of Hickmans, was found injured on the side of the road by a passer by. Ms. Merchant was transported to the Alexandra Hospital where upon examination, she was found to have sustained a broken arm, a broken hand, and numerous cuts and bruises.
