Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, October 19, 2022: On Wednesday 23rd November 2022 at approximately 4:00pm, a prisoner was brought to the Joseph Nathaniel France General Hospital under police custody for medical treatment. The prisoner temporarily escaped from police custody and in the process caused severe structural damage to the roof in the emergency room. The suspect has since been apprehended. The escape resulted in a busted pipe in the ceiling area which caused leakage through the roof and water damage.
