All owners and operators of fishing vessels operating in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis are kindly reminded to have their fishing vessels inspected and licensed for the year 2022 on or before January 31, 2022. Please be informed that operating fishing vessels that have not been licensed for the year 2022 is engaging in Illegal Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing, which is in breach of the Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Marine Resources Act (FAMRA). He said that the practice of slaughtering animals in your backyard “is illegal under the offensive trade regulation which covers the slaughtering of poultry, animals such as cows, sheep and goats or dealing with blood and boiling of any products associated with this activity and storing of hides and gut scraping.” Gut scraping is the removal and disposal of the entrails of the animal. Applications can be accessed at https://web.icdf.org.tw/ICDF_TSP/WelcomeStart.aspx Candidates must submit a completed application form, a photocopy of their passport, photocopy of one’s highest level of Diploma and academic transcripts (certified by the Ministry of Education), two letters of reference.
